Carla Harris is a Vice Chairman, Managing Director, and Senior Client Advisor at Morgan Stanley with more than 35 years of experience in the financial services industry. She was appointed by President Barack Obama to chair the National Women’s Business Council and has been named to Fortune Magazine’s list of the 50 Most Powerful Black Executives in Corporate America.

She has executed landmark transactions including the initial public offerings for UPS, Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, and numerous technology companies. She holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, Second Year Honors, and an AB in economics from Harvard University, magna cum laude.
