Marcus Lemonis is a serial entrepreneur, philanthropist, and television personality best known as the star of CNBC’s hit series The Profit and FOX’s The Fixer. As Chairman and CEO of Camping World, he grew the company into the nation’s largest RV retailer with approximately 165 locations across 37 states. His business philosophy centers on three core principles – people, process, and product – and he leads with heart, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to helping others succeed.
From Lebanon to the American Dream
Born in war-torn Lebanon and adopted at nine months old by a loving family in Miami, Marcus overcame a challenging childhood that included struggles with bullying and self-confidence. He honed his entrepreneurial spirit working at his family’s automotive dealership and by age 25 seized the opportunity to reshape how recreational vehicles were sold, building Camping World into a billion-dollar enterprise. On The Profit, which ran for eight seasons, he invested over $35 million of his own money into struggling businesses without taking a paycheck from the show.
A Heart for Giving Back
Marcus has donated millions to charitable causes, including $15 million to his alma mater Marquette University and $10 million to his high school in Miami. He founded the Lemon-Aid Foundation to support women and minority entrepreneurs and launched the Marcus Lemonis Learning Center during the 2020 pandemic, offering free online business training to aspiring entrepreneurs.
