Speaker John Rosemond is one of America’s busiest and most popular speakers. Over the last five years, he has given an average of 200 talks a year to audiences ranging from 250 to 10,000. From 1980-1990, John was in full-time practice as a family psychologist. He “retired” from the practice of psychology in 1991 and has since devoted his time to speaking and writing. Since January 2000, John has given more than 200 talks nationwide to parent and professional audiences, and he will give at least 50 more before the current speaking season ends in December.
John’s acclaimed parenting column is syndicated in approximately 200 newspapers nationwide. He has written nine best-selling parenting books, all published by Andrews McMeel of Kansas City, a Universal Press Syndicate company. In the past few years, John has appeared on numerous national television programs including 20/20, Good Morning America, The View, Bill Maher’s Politically Incorrect, Public Eye, The Today Show, CNN, and CBS Later Today. He has also been featured in the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times Magazine, USA Today, US News & World Report, and many local and regional newspapers and magazines. In 1999, PBS produced two programs featuring John in front of live studio audiences. These programs have since proven to be a big hit with PBS program managers and home audiences as testified to by the fact that nearly every PBS station in the country has aired John’s shows.
